Intermission with Mr. Marvin Gaye and the Grant Lazlo Orchestra

A song I grew up loving, and yet a version of it I'd never heard until recently.
It's a long play ~ but worth your time ~ if you're so inclined...

  1. I like the sound of Grant Lazlo Orchestra, but I don't remember Marvin Gaye doing this version of I Heard it Through the Grapevine before now. It's different, but I think I like it. Thanks for the introduction. Incidentally, why is it you have a separate blog for your BOTB posts? I noticed others do this sort of thing, too. It would drive me insane to have more than one blog. I was wondering what benefits this offers you over keeping everything under one blog. Just Curious as a Cathy you might say! LOL Keep warm cause baby it's cold outside! ;)

    1. Cathy - I'm so glad you're curious!! It's purely selfish of me, really. I didn't want to tie up my main blog, for several days, twice a month. I do other blog hops and special features there.

This blog used to be for LOVE stories.(shh- don't tell.)

I have a third blog just for jokes. Mostly crazy photos of stuff. People in a hurry that need a laugh, visit.

Thanks so much for listening. I really like the music of Grant Lazlo too. They saved the best for the last 3 minutes, I think. I also like the Creedence version. So cold, I almost skipped the daily walk... almost. You stay warm too :)

  2. Never heard of this before let alone heard it. This is a great version! I think this is about as good as the CCR version which is my favorite, but this could take my place with enough listens.

    1. Hi Lee. I really like it too, and it sort of grows on me each time I listen. I agree about CCR. Hope you grabbed the link for it. :)
